We create and embellish our environment in ways both intentional and haphazard. The resulting elements may enhance, reflect, clash against, merge with, or encroach on each other, or on the natural world. The sacred and the mundane, the modern and the historical, the personal and the commercial often inhabit the same area. Intersections, idiosyncrasies, and incongruities in our everyday world intrigue me.
